Vacation Bible School
August 5, 2010
It's over! Can you believe that another year of Vacation Bible School has come and gone? The hard work of all of our volunteers made this year's VBS a great success. Each night we transported almost sixty children back to Ancient Egypt. Each child was placed in an Egyptian family and came to Celebration Worship Time to worship the "One True God." They learned that the Egyptian people worshiped many gods and while shopping in the Marketplace they had an opportunity to tell out shopkeepers about the One True God.
Each night they visited Joseph and heard about his life and learned through him that God gives us hope, special abilities to be used for His service, wisdom, forgiveness, and families.
On Friday evening, four children made the decision to make Jesus Christ the Savior of their lives. We rejoiced in not only the salvation decisions, but in being allowed to plant seeds of salvation in the hearts of many children.
To God Be the Glory, Great Things He Has Done!
